Shared Workspace
Share products, styles, and generated content across your team.
A shared workspace in Qamera AI gives your entire team access to the same products, styles, and generated content. This guide explains how workspace sharing works and how to organize your team's content effectively.
How Workspace Sharing Works
When you create content in a team workspace, it is automatically visible to all team members. There is no need to manually share individual items. This applies to:
- Products — Any product added to the team workspace is available to all members for generation sessions.
- Generated content — Packshots, photo shoot images, and videos created by any team member appear in the shared library.
- Styles — Custom styles created within the workspace and marketplace styles added by any member are available to everyone.
- Credits — The team shares a single credit pool. All generations by any member draw from the same balance.
Workspace vs Personal Account
Every user in Qamera AI has both a personal account and access to any team workspaces they belong to. Understanding the difference is important:
- Personal account — Content you create here is private to you. Only you can see your personal products, generations, and styles.
- Team workspace — Content created here is shared with all team members. Everyone can view and use the products, images, and styles in the workspace.
Content does not automatically transfer between personal and team accounts. If you create something in your personal account and want the team to use it, you need to recreate or upload it in the team workspace.
Switching Between Workspaces
You can switch between your personal account and any team workspaces using the workspace selector in the sidebar. Click the selector to see all available workspaces and choose the one you want to work in. Your context switches immediately, and you see only the content belonging to that workspace.
Best Practices for Team Organization
- Centralize your product catalog — Upload all products to the team workspace rather than personal accounts so everyone has access.
- Standardize styles early — Create or add your brand styles to the team workspace before team members start generating content.
- Use consistent naming — Agree on a naming convention for products and styles so content is easy to find as your library grows.
- Review generated content together — Take advantage of shared visibility to review and approve content as a team before publishing.
- Monitor credit usage — Since credits are shared, keep an eye on the balance to avoid running out during important campaigns.
