Uploading Product Photos

Add your products to Qamera AI with high-quality reference photos.

Adding products to Qamera AI is the first step toward generating professional content. This guide walks you through the upload process from start to finish.

Step 1: Open the Products Section

Navigate to the Products section using the sidebar menu. This is where your entire product catalog lives. You will see a list of any products you have already added, along with the option to create new ones.

Step 2: Create a New Product

Click the button to add a new product. You will be prompted to enter a product name. Choose a clear, descriptive name that helps you identify the item later — for example, "Blue Denim Jacket" rather than "Product 1".

Step 3: Upload Reference Photos

After naming your product, upload one or more reference photos. You can drag and drop files or use the file browser to select them from your computer.

Supported Formats and Limits

  • Formats — JPG and PNG files are accepted.
  • File size — Individual files should not exceed the platform's upload limit.
  • Multiple photos — You can upload several photos per product. Multiple angles give the AI a more complete understanding of your item.

Step 4: Review and Save

After uploading, review the photos to make sure they appear correctly. You can remove any photos that are blurry or poorly framed and upload replacements. Once satisfied, save the product to add it to your catalog.

Tips for Better Uploads

  • Upload multiple angles — Front, side, back, and close-up detail shots help the AI capture every aspect of your product.
  • Use consistent lighting — Keep the lighting setup the same across all photos of the same product.
  • Avoid cropping too tightly — Leave some space around the product so the AI can properly detect its edges.
  • Check the preview — Always review the uploaded photos before saving. A quick check can save you from generating content with a flawed reference image.

After Uploading

Once your product is saved, it becomes available for all content generation features. You can select it when creating packshots, configuring photo shoot sessions, or producing video reels.
