Qamera AI uses a credit-based system to manage content generation. Every time you generate a packshot, photo shoot image, or video, credits are deducted from your account balance. This guide explains how the system works and how to manage your usage.
How Credits Work
Credits are the currency of content generation in Qamera AI. Each generation action consumes a specific number of credits based on the type and complexity of the content being produced. Your account has a credit balance that decreases with each generation and replenishes according to your subscription plan.
Credit Costs by Content Type
Different content types require different amounts of credits:
- Packshots — The most affordable option. Generating clean product images on simple backgrounds uses the fewest credits per image.
- Photo shoots — Mid-range credit cost. Adding AI models and sceneries to your product photos requires more processing power and uses more credits than basic packshots.
- Videos — The highest credit cost. Video reels involve rendering multiple frames with transitions and effects, making them the most credit-intensive content type.
The exact credit cost for each generation is displayed in the session configuration panel before you start, so you always know what you are spending.
Tracking Your Usage
Monitor your credit balance and spending from the Credits section in your workspace:
- Current balance — See how many credits you have available right now.
- Usage history — Review past generations and their credit costs to understand your spending patterns.
- Usage by type — See how your credits are distributed across packshots, photo shoots, and videos.
When Credits Renew
Your subscription plan includes a monthly credit allowance that refreshes at the start of each billing cycle. If you run out before your renewal date, you can purchase additional credit packs to keep generating content without waiting.
