A single session gives you several photographs of one product. Until now they all came back under one name — or, for packshots, under no name at all — so choosing between them meant describing them by position on the screen and hoping everyone was counting the same way.
Each photo is now named for what it is. The name carries three parts: the product, which shot of the batch it is, and a short description of the frame taken from the idea it was generated from. For example: Emerald bra 3/5 — a model stands by a window.
The position always describes the batch you ordered, not the photos that happen to be on screen. If one of five did not come out, the remaining photos keep their original numbers and you can see that something is missing, instead of four photos silently renumbering themselves.
A renamed product now shows up on its photos. Correcting a product's name previously changed it in the product list while its generated photos kept the description our analysis had given the original upload. The name you set is now the one that appears everywhere.
Names are worked out when photos are displayed, so they are always current and there is nothing to keep in sync. This is most visible if you work through our API — packshots that used to arrive as Unnamed Packshot now arrive named — but the corrected product name applies to the panel as well.
