Until now, when the visible AI label could not be added to a photo, a labelled download waited up to three minutes and then ended with "Labels are not available right now." The message did not say why, and asking again changed nothing.
The answer now comes at the first attempt. A single download tells you "We cannot add the label to this image right now. The problem is on our side, not with your image. Please try again later." and does not hand you the file without the label you asked for. A download of several photos delivers the labelled ones, gives you the rest unchanged and names them.
A new wording works from the moment it appears in your settings. A newly added wording could previously be chosen before labels could be produced with it, and every labelled download using it failed. The wording is now settled where you choose it, so that cannot happen again.
Nothing changes about which photos can carry the label, what it says or how it looks.
