Your generated photos have carried machine-readable proof of how they were made for some time. It is invisible: to see it, you have to upload the file to a verification tool and know that such a tool exists. Anyone looking at the photo on your storefront sees nothing at all.
You can now add a visible version of that — a small badge in a corner of the photo, reading something like AI-generated.
It is off unless you ask for it, every single time. There is no setting that turns it on permanently. Some shop platforms mark AI content themselves and some markets do not require it at all, so this is a choice you make at the moment you download rather than a property of the files sitting in your gallery.
Your account decides how it looks. In team settings you choose the corner, the size, the badge and text colours, how transparent it is, and the wording from a short list in English, Polish or Ukrainian. The screen shows your badge over four sample photographs spanning bright to dark, with the measured legibility under each — because a colour that reads perfectly on a white packshot can disappear entirely on a dark scene, and one preview photo would not tell you that. If a choice is hard to read, the screen says so and offers to correct it; it never stops you saving.
The wording comes from our list rather than a text field, because the badge travels inside the file and has to stay truthful about how the photo was made.
The photo itself is untouched. Adding the badge does not re-compress your image. Every pixel outside the badge is preserved exactly as the model produced it, and the file size changes by a fraction of a percent.
Some things this deliberately does not cover, so they do not come as a surprise:
- Only photos generated here. Product photos you uploaded yourself are never labelled — we know only that this platform converted the file, not where the picture came from, and a badge claiming otherwise would be untrue about your own photograph.
- Videos are downloaded without a badge.
- Thumbnails and previews are not labelled. Right-clicking a tile to save the image, and the preview served through our API, both give you a smaller display copy rather than the exported original — so those come without a badge. Use the download button for a labelled file.
- Photos sent to your shop through the plugin are not labelled. Marking AI content on a storefront is your shop platform's job; it knows what it is publishing and under which rules.
The first time you download a given photo with the badge, it is prepared in the background, which takes a moment. You can close the window while that happens — the work continues, and the next download of the same photo is immediate.
