Until now, a handful of styles appeared on every account on the platform. They were not added by you, they were not recorded anywhere against your account, and there was no way to remove them — they simply showed up, the same seven for everybody.
That has changed. Every account now holds its own set of styles, and a new account is given a curated set of six the moment it is created: a studio portrait look, a natural outdoor look, an outdoor editorial look, a natural studio look, a studio editorial look and an apartment editorial look. Something to choose between from the first shoot.
Anything on your account is now yours to remove. Because each style is recorded against your account rather than shown to everyone, removing one affects your account and no other. Previously there was nothing to remove — the style was not attached to you in the first place.
What you had, you kept. Before the shared styles stopped being shown, we checked every account for work already placed through one of them, and added it properly to the accounts that had. If you had ordered a shoot with one of those styles, it is on your account now and nothing you were using disappeared.
Two things you may notice:
- The curated styles now sit under the Marketplace tab, not Selected. They are marketplace styles linked to your account, and that is where linked styles have always appeared for models and scenes.
- If you never used one of the previously shared styles, it is no longer in your list. Nothing you worked with was taken away, but a style you never chose and never ordered with is no longer shown on an account that never asked for it.
Accounts that had built up their own styles are untouched — your own styles, and anything you had added from the marketplace, are exactly where they were.
