A packshot generated from a photo labelled back could come out showing the front. The label was reaching the generator as a passing note about the input rather than as an instruction about the output, and it lost to the stronger wording already in the generator's own guidance.
The side is now phrased as a command — render this side of the product — and it is never left out. Previously, when a photo had no side set, the whole line vanished from the request and the generator was left to guess, with nothing afterwards to explain the result.
Two changes you can see directly:
- The packshot dialog shows which side it will generate from, and says plainly when the chosen photo has no side set — without blocking you from generating.
- A finished packshot shows the source photo it was built from, so a mismatch is visible at a glance instead of requiring you to go back and compare.
Setting the side on each photo, in the product's details, is what makes this work — the app never guesses a side that nobody chose.
