Generation engine moved to a newer AI model

The AI model behind prompt writing, idea generation and photo analysis has been updated to a newer version, ahead of the retirement of the one used until now.

The AI model that writes the descriptions behind your generations — used when composing prompts, generating session ideas and analysing uploaded photos — has moved to a newer version. The provider is retiring the previous model in October, so this change happens ahead of that date rather than at the deadline.

Before switching, we compared both models on real generations from the platform and reviewed the resulting images side by side, without knowing which model produced which. Two reviewers judged them independently. Most pairs were indistinguishable; where they differed, the outcome went both ways, with the new model ahead overall.

Alongside the change, generation is slightly faster and the occasional hiccup where a generation had to be retried internally has become less frequent. Nothing changes in how you work — your presets, styles and products are unaffected.
