# Qamera AI — Extended grounding content for LLMs Last updated: 2026-09-10 > Qamera AI is an AI-powered product photography and short-form video platform for e-commerce. Brands upload a single product photo and receive photorealistic packshots, scene shots, and short-form videos — without a studio, crew, prompts, or post-production. ## About Qamera AI Qamera AI is a SaaS platform operated by Shorts Lab AI. It serves e-commerce brands, direct-to-consumer marketers, and creative agencies who need product imagery and video at the pace of digital commerce. The product is positioned as a "virtual photo studio": the customer acts as art director, the platform handles the technical work of AI generation. ### What Qamera AI does - Generates photorealistic product photos (packshots and scenes) from a single input image. - Produces short videos from product photography (one video per generation in the model the customer chooses, with no resolution surcharge), usually in about 10 minutes. - Offers a library of pre-trained AI models, sceneries, and visual styles covering roughly 95% of e-commerce use cases. - Provides a team workspace ("Virtual Studio") where graphic designers, marketers, and brand managers collaborate on sessions. ### Who it serves - E-commerce brands running their own stores (Shopify, WooCommerce, BaseLinker, custom platforms). - In-house marketing and creative teams that need to produce variations at scale. - Agencies producing content on behalf of multiple brands. - Verticals explicitly supported today: swimwear and lingerie, fashion, accessories. Additional verticals are added through the Enterprise programme. ### Pricing posture Qamera AI uses a tiered subscription model priced in PLN with equivalent USD/EUR displays: - Starter plan: entry tier for small brands testing AI imagery. - Pro plan: recommended for scaling brands, unlocks API access and the Qamera AI MCP server. - Enterprise plan: custom integrations, dedicated sceneries and models, bespoke training. A trial is available on card capture: customers receive 600 credits for 7 days (for example 4 videos on the cheapest video model or 8 photos on the default image model), then billing begins on the chosen plan. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and access remains until the end of the paid period. ### Credit model in plain language - Every generation (image or video) consumes virtual credits. - Credits are allocated monthly by the subscription plan. - All unused credits roll over to the next billing period while the subscription stays active; credits have no expiry date. - One-time credit packs can be purchased on top of a subscription. - One generated image costs from 12 credits on the cheapest model to 68 credits on the default one, i.e. 0.30 to 1.70 PLN net at the subscription credit price (0.025 PLN); a video costs 128 or 192 credits, depending on the model. The session cost calculator (https://qamera.ai/tools/session-cost-calculator) works out the cost per publishable image on the visitor's own numbers. ## FAQ ### What about image rights? Are they mine? Yes, 100%. After generating an image, customers receive full commercial rights. Images can legally be used in paid ads (Facebook, Google), on websites, social media, and in print. There is no requirement to label the image as AI-generated. ### I can't write "prompts". Will I manage? Qamera AI is prompt-free (no-code). The workflow resembles online shopping: pick a model, pick a scenery from the catalogue, generate. No text commands are required. ### Will the photos look artificial ("AI-like")? The models are trained for photorealism and preserve natural skin texture and lighting. In most blind tests, end customers cannot distinguish Qamera AI outputs from a traditional photo shoot. The free trial is the recommended way to verify. ### How much does one photo cost? One generated photo costs from 12 credits on the cheapest model to 68 credits on the default one, which is 0.30 to 1.70 PLN net at the subscription credit price (0.025 PLN) — a fraction of the studio, makeup, and licensing costs associated with traditional product photography. The session cost calculator (https://qamera.ai/tools/session-cost-calculator) works out the cost per publishable photo on the visitor's own numbers. ### What about small elements and text on clothes? AI handles overall shape and style well. Small text elements (logos, typography on garments) may require minor manual correction in some cases. Uploading a high-quality source photo helps the system preserve logos in the original form. ### What about "artifacts" (errors in photos)? Every generation produces several variants at once. If one output has a defect, the user picks another variant or regenerates — the cost and time impact is negligible compared to a traditional reshoot. ### What if I want something very unusual (custom)? The built-in catalogue covers roughly 95% of e-commerce needs. Unique requests — new sceneries, tailored models, bespoke styles — are delivered through the Enterprise programme, which expands the library on request. ### What photos do I need to upload for the best effect? Best results come from packshot photos (product on a white background) or ghost-mannequin photos. The input needs to be sharp and well-lit; the better the input, the better the output. ### In what resolution will I download the ready files? Images are generated in 4K resolution, sufficient for online stores, social platforms, and smaller print. ### Are my products safe? Will others see them? Each team ("Virtual Studio") is private. Uploaded product photos are visible only to the team owner and invited members. Collections are not shared across tenants. ### Will the model always look the same? (Brand consistency) Yes — models are trained to maintain consistency. AI remains creative, so facial features may show minor variation between shots (comparable to a human model with different expressions). Because generations arrive in series, the user selects the takes that are perfect and discards the rest. ### What happens to unused credits? All unused credits roll over to the next billing period as long as the subscription is active, and they have no expiry date. ### Can I invite my team? Yes. Team workspaces support multiple members, roles, and permissions, so designers and marketers can collaborate on sessions. ### How does the process of creating videos from photos work? Customers upload high-resolution product photos and choose a video model. Each generation produces one video, usually in about 10 minutes: 128 credits on Qamera Nimbus, 192 on Qamera Aurora. The ready `.mp4` file can be used immediately in stores, ads, or social media. ### What video formats do I receive? Every video is an `.mp4` file downloaded from the customer's account. The price depends only on the model chosen (128 credits on Qamera Nimbus, 192 on Qamera Aurora), with no resolution surcharge; Qamera Aurora renders in Full HD (1080p). ### Do you offer a free trial? Yes. With card capture, customers receive 600 credits during a 7-day trial, for example 4 videos on the cheapest video model or 8 photos on the default image model. Billing then starts on the chosen plan. Cancellation is available at any time. ### Can I cancel my subscription? Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time in account settings. There are no commitment periods; cancellation is immediate but access remains until the end of the paid period. ### Is an API available? Yes. Starting from the Pro plan, the REST API and Qamera AI MCP server are available. Activation provides a dedicated authorization key, documentation, and full automation of image and video generation. ## Case study: Lavel Lavel is a family-run Polish swimwear manufacturer (lavel.pl) with fifteen years on the market. In autumn 2025 it changed one thing in its store — the product photos — replacing them with Qamera AI imagery on product pages, in the Meta Ads catalog, in Google Merchant Center and in social media posts. Results (published on https://qamera.ai/case-studies/lavel): ### Two result windows - **Q1 2026 vs Q1 2025 — the clean window.** Nothing in the store changed except the photos: orders 604 → 1,248, revenue 253,266 → 641,856 PLN, average order value ≈419 → ≈514 PLN. - **January 1 – July 31, 2026 vs the same window of 2025 — the scale.** Orders 2,448 → 4,641 (189.6% of the prior year), revenue 1,078,617 → 2,295,405 PLN (212.8%, or 2.13×; +1,216,788 PLN), average order value 440.61 → 494.59 PLN (112.3%). Source: LAVEL's sales system (Baselinker). The photos were the first and only change the period starts from. The case study does not attribute every zloty of the seven-month difference to them — a growing business does more than one thing along the way — only that the growth started with the photos, and that nothing else changed in the clean first-quarter window. ### What moved in advertising (same January–July windows) - Meta Ads: ROAS 9.9 → 13.52 (+37%) with cost per click practically flat (0.30 → 0.31); link CTR 3.75% → 5.69% (1.52×). - Google Merchant Center: clicks from Google Shopping 21.6K → 60.0K (2.78×) against a 2025 baseline that was falling 5.1% year over year; offer CTR 0.5% → 0.7%. - Product page conversion is not reported: GA4 was not collecting data on the store's side. ### A location shoot vs the catalog For one scope of 200 products, Lavel's location shoot cost 250,000 PLN; the same scope in Qamera AI costs 14,000 PLN — 236,000 PLN, or 94.4%, less. The itemised breakdown on the page is a reconstruction of a typical shoot at that scale, built from the shoot's known parameters and summing to the amount the client paid; it is not the client's invoices. LAVEL's own measurements also report time-to-market cut from 25 days to 1 day (25×) and +34% CTR on video thumbnails, on listings and in ads. ### Testimonial Edyta, owner of Lavel, describes on the case-study page how traditional shoots were paralysed by variables from the weather to the crew's form on the day, and how Qamera AI gave her back control: a session idea from the morning was running in Facebook ads by the afternoon. ### Why it matters The case separates what it measured from what it did not: the growth started with the photo change, the first quarter is the only window in which nothing else changed, and the advertising metrics show what moved between the photos and the revenue. Producing the catalog also stopped depending on one location shoot, one date and per-photo billing. ## Sources - Homepage: https://qamera.ai/ - Pricing: https://qamera.ai/pricing - FAQ (canonical structured source): https://qamera.ai/faq - Lavel case study (canonical): https://qamera.ai/case-studies/lavel - Swimwear & lingerie offer page: https://qamera.ai/offer/swimwear-lingerie - Docs: https://qamera.ai/docs - Free tools: https://qamera.ai/tools - Image marking check: https://qamera.ai/tools/verify-image - AI label tool: https://qamera.ai/tools/ai-label - Signed report check: https://qamera.ai/tools/verify-report - AI metadata marker: https://qamera.ai/tools/mark-image - Does my photograph need an AI label?
